Clécia Mouraret is a multidisciplinary artist and founder of CooKoom and Tamalotrip
Clécia is a multidisciplinary artist of Franco-Spanish origin, the daughter of a visual artist and a musician. She has always lived in a creative environment and her work explores art between naivety and subtlety.
After studying at the School of Fine Art in Valence and the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg, she began creating her COOKOOM in England, where she mounted her first exhibition.
On her return to France, she specialized in graphics and spent 15 years working as an Artistic Director in advertising agencies, developing her know-how and expertise in the world of luxury design, sport and fashion. At the same time, she trained with creative people such as Sébastien Montaz-Roset and stopped the passage of time with the TAMALOTRIP which revealed her love of photography and travel.
At the age of 38, she opened up to a more personal experience and returned to her first love, the "CooKoom". She expresses her emotions and shares them with us through themes such as spirituality and love. She has let go of the computer instead expresses herself through wood, clay, brushes, etc.
"By immersing the reader in his brilliance and his dark side, I’m looking for a return to our true human nature so that we can listen to our own path in life".
She loves drawing a world that combines softness and strength to reveal an emotional intensity, influenced by Niki de Saint Phalle’s "Nanas" and Yoshitomo Nara’s children.
Since then, her work, such as "CooKoom meditation", has made its reputation in the art world. Much more than a fantasy world, the CooKooms are messengers who reconnect us with our inner child by calling out to us as adults.
